Tall Ship Providence

Tall Ship Providence is a reproduction of the first ship authorized to serve in the Continental Navy and John Paul Jones’s first American command. At her permanent home in Alexandria, Virginia, Providence provides a living link to our rich maritime, naval, and Revolutionary history.

We offer a unique venue for micro-weddings, which can include a ceremony and cocktail reception over a sunset cruise, or a quick dockside nuptial. We have the flexibility to tailor events to meet the vision and needs of the couple and can connect you with other local vendors to make your vision come to life.
